Email X-Ray
See where that email really came from.
Paste the raw source of a suspicious email. You'll get the path it took across the internet, whether the sender checks out, and where every link actually goes.
How to get the raw source
- Gmail (web): open the email, click the three-dot menu, choose Show original, then Copy to clipboard.
- Outlook (web): open the email, click the three-dot menu, then View, then View message source.
- Apple Mail (Mac): View, then Message, then Raw Source.
- Yahoo Mail: click More, then View raw message.
- Outlook (desktop): drag the email from your inbox to your desktop to save it as a .msg file, then drop it here.
- Most phone mail apps hide this, so a computer is easiest. You can also save the email as a .eml file and open it here.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you paste leaves this page.
